Learn how to debug Node.js applications using Google Chrome and Visual Studio Code.

Debugging is such a valuable skill set, but it’s hard if you don’t have the right tools.

For a long time, we didn’t have the right tools. The command line debugger was cumbersome, and tools like node-inspector went unmaintained to the point of uselessness.

That’s not the case these days. There are plenty of great debugging options, and we’re going to explore a few of them in the video.

You’re going to learn how to debug Node applications using Node’s new integration with the Chrome Developer Tools. This no longer requires a tool like node-inspector or iron-node.

You’ll also learn how to debug Node apps right inside Visual Studio Code. It’s my favorite editor these days.
